After moving to San Diego a few years back, I was quickly introduced to the brunch-as-a-way-of-life culture. I should probably do a whole post on San Diego’s relationship with brunches some day but for now, I’d like to talk about the relationship between My Closet and these brunches. The mornings really are the best time to get going in a nice piece (and oh, the pictures turn out great too).
Last Sunday was one such day, and I was out in an elegant all-white outfit. This outfit is a two piece, but I decided to wear it in a way to give the appearance of a romper. I got the top and the bottom separately from Nordstrom (again…Memorial day sale). Not only do they go well together, they also pair great with a ton of other clothing on their own. Will be putting up pictures of separate pairings soon with other pieces soon.
The sandals from Michael Kors are the perfect comfortable shoes to walk and as with most of my shoe choices, I love how the color on these contrast against the clothing. The espadrille sandals have been a personal favorite for me recently, and I can see myself using them a lot over the summer. This sandal combines it with the tie-up styles (something that’s quite in trend these days) and are super comfortable to walk in.
Also have on my go-to bag for all those times when I’m fussing over which bag to carry. Maybe its just me but I really feel it complements every combination. Sorry guys!! You will be seeing more of it
This being a pretty cold morning, I took along a denim jacket….again a safe piece that cant really go wrong. Guess that’s the theme of this post then 😀
